The food: Middle Eastern with other influences
Brother Hubbard.jpg

Brother Hubbard has become a brunch/lunch institution in recent years, and owners James Boland and Garrett Fitzgerald recently extended their Capel Street location into a 250-seater cafe and restaurant. They've also added a general food store stocking Irish artisanal brands, and an in-house roastery is due to open soon. Open from breakfast to dinner with most of the dishes having a Middle-Eastern influence, and all of the breads and cakes made in house. They also have a southside branch in Dublin 8 which only opens for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

"We started with the mezze platter ... Everything tasted bright and exhilarating and I can only imagine the amount of time that it would have taken to prepare it all at home." Food 9/10. Value 9/10.
