777 are looking for experienced, well-travelled Chefs to join our team. You’ll be joining a team that has well-established supplier contacts with sole distribution of certain products to the Irish Market.

We are passionate about exceeding our guests' expectations and the successful candidate will be focused on producing high quality dishes using the best ingredients and passionate about delivering a superior experience for our guests.

The Role:

Everything related to a successful skilled chef running a kitchen that’s sole focus is on good cooking and the best produce available. Candidate must be a mature responsible team player who has a positive attitude and enjoys their work. 

The Restaurant:

777, opened in February 2012, is Ireland’s first and only contemporary Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was conceived as a high-end contemporary Mexican and tequila cocktail bar with a vibrant, lively and casual atmosphere balanced with the same high standard of service found in The Butcher Grill. The 777 experience is unique. It is a deliberately balanced blend of restaurant / cocktail bar / nightclub atmosphere. The music is deliberately louder than the average restaurant and the mood is friendly, uplifting and exciting.

The cuisine is inspired by and draws from authentic, traditional Mexican ingredients using classic culinary techniques and modern flavour applications to create unique dishes. The original menu was created through a consultancy by Rene Ortiz; a James Beard award-winning chef from La Condesa in Austin, Texas. With the help of one of his chefs, Diego Mirales, who worked in 777 for the first two months with the chefs teaching them about the ingredients that were new to Ireland at the time

The Candidate: 

- Must come from a Restaurant background, not hotel

- Well-traveled with a vast knowledge of different cuisines, ideally Mexican

- Self-motivated, team player, energetic and professional 

- Have an interest in using fresh local produce

- Trained in HACCP regulations 

- PPS number and valid work permit for Ireland. Will consider visa for the right candidate 

- A passion for food and excellent knowledge
