We are seeking a proactive, organised and commercially minded Sales & Hospitality Operations Coordinator to join our growing group of seafood-focused hospitality businesses, including The Seafood Café, Salty Buoy, The Urban Monger, Lambay Island Crab, and Seafood Suppers.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted role at the heart of a progressive food group. The successful candidate will support both retail sales and customer relationships, as well as hospitality operations, events, and consultancy projects. It’s ideally suited to someone with a background in hospitality management, who’s eager to grow into a broader role spanning sales, logistics, and group operations.
You’ll work closely with our Group Operations and Development Manager and CEO, playing an important role in the daily performance and future development
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Sales Support
Conduct regular visits to retail stockists to check stock, manage returns, and maintain POS
Organise and execute tastings and in-store product activations
Build and manage relationships with store managers and trade customers
Support new product rollouts, including fresh fish lines and ready meals
Hospitality Operations
Provide operational support at The Seafood Café, Salty Buoy food truck, events and ongoing consultancy operations
Take an active role in projects delivered through our consultancy wing, including new site openings, menu development, and operational improvements
Assist with production, dispatch logistics, and day-to-day coordination
Support a wide range of events, festivals, catering bookings, and brand activations
Maintain consistency in service and operational standards across hospitality sites
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with the operations team on scheduling, procurement, and site logistics
Assist with basic reporting, stock tracking, and internal documentation
Provide photos and insights from tastings/events to support marketing and PR
Ensure alignment between production, service, retail, and leadership teams
Candidate Profile
Essential
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in hospitality management (restaurant, café, hotel, or food retail)
Experience managing or supporting customer and trade relationships (retail and/or HoReCa)
Strong understanding of hospitality operations — including purchasing, service standards, and stock control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle
Preferred
Kitchen experience
Experience with tastings, in-store demos, or sales activations
Familiarity with retail systems and foodservice sales cycles
Comfortable with spreadsheets, email, and shared file systems
A Plus
Experience supporting multi-site or group operations
Interest in Irish seafood, sustainability, and independent food systems
