The food: Seafood
Klaw Dublin

Fresh, sustainable seafood in a makeshift shack in the middle of Temple Bar. Owner Niall Sabongi is on a mission to get Irish people to eat more fish, and this is an ideal place to experience native Irish oysters, lobster, crab and prawns in casual surroundings.

CRITIC REVIEWS

Leslie Williams, Irish Examiner

"Despite a few quibbles this was an enjoyable meal, thanks to the quality of the shellfish and I will definitely be back."

Food 6/10. Value 8/10.

Catherine Cleary, The Irish Times

"The farmed oysters taste of the sea but these natives are a more profound experience. Like any animal that has led a long wild life they have laid down layers of flavour over a lifetime like a tree laying down rings. It is a taste of a place, the Wild Atlantic Way in food form." 4/5.
