The food: Seafood, small plates
Seaside vibes in the city with some pretty inventive food. This beach hut basement is heavy on the seafood, but has plenty to satisfy carnivores too, including a wickedly indulgent duck liver and pear caramel choux bun.

"Just edging out the sobrasada for my dish of the night gong was our final plate. West Cork scallops marinated in ginger beer, lime juice and tonic, then topped with crispy seaweed (€12). Gorgeously fresh and zingy, it's the kind of food you'd be a long time getting bored of eating."

"Much as I loved the pork and liver dishes, as with the main restaurant overhead, the seafood dishes were arguably the stars. Scallops were cured in a vac-pack with seaweed, ginger beer, lime, lemon, and salt, giving the delicate flesh a zingy complex flavour." Food 8/10. Value 7/10.
