It was a long three-year wait for Variety Jones' more casual, affordable little sibling Mongoose to open in their former location a few doors down, but to say the team came out with all guns blazing would be an understatement. Designed to offer "simpler" food at a more accessible price, the flavours and combinations on the plate aren't that far off in excitement levels from their alma mater, and with these kinds of prices, there's no danger of seats sitting empty.
