Boco Clontarf

The Story
Boco in Clontarf finally has walls and a ceiling after a few years serving pizza from a converted fire truck at the back of Harry Byrne's pub. They took over a year to open this one in the former Pigeon House site and it shows in the thoughtfulness of every part of it. Pizzas, small plates and salads make up the menu, with the selection of wines, cocktails and beers far superior than your average pizza place. There's plenty of seating, including an outdoor area with a retractable roof whose seats will be the most in demand on the northside this summer. Do yourself a favour and book in advance, or risk extreme disappointment when you smell what's cooking and get politely turned away.
